Family First

I will not be blogging for a few days.

As you may know, Nashville has been devastated by flooding this weekend.

While our home is OK, our daughter and son-in-law were not as lucky.  They live on the west side of Nashville near the Harpeth River.  It was one of the rivers that took the brunt of the 12-18 inches of rain we had.  Sadly their home was flooded.  Thankfully they are safe.

We do not know the extent of the damage to their home.  But they have strong faith and an army of family and friends ready to help them get back on their feet.  I will be doing what I can for them over the coming days.

I also have to fly to Miami to help my father, who suffered a stroke late last week.

So needless to say, family comes first.  I will return soon....

Jeff, I am so sorry to hear about this! I have had several friends displaced, but my family and I made it out okay. Please send my best to your daughter and know that I'm keeping you all in my prayers.
